TANGATA WHENUA
Relationship building between tāngata whenua (people of the land) here in Croatia and manuhiri (guests or visitors) is very important to the core of 45 Degrees Sailing and who we are.
For many expats who work here in summer, the winter months allow them time to explore other global destinations. For us, we like to spend this time exploring the villages, mountains and countries around us, experiencing the culture and environment, and connecting with the people of the land.
WATERMELON, CAPSICUM & BEANS
Join us today visiting in Vrana one of the small local businesses that provide the fresh produce for our fresh boxes and food on board the yacht for our guests over the summer months.
It’s amazing how local, seasonal food tastes so much better picked straight from the fields. With the added bonus of working and having fun alongside the locals even when we speak different languages.
