Do I need to know how to sail?
Not at all! There is no experience needed to be on board or participate in one of our day sails or seven day holidays.
What do I need to bring?
Warm clothes, sunglasses and non marking shoes to wear on board. And don’t forget your camera!
Will we get wet?
In most situations the answer is no, you will stay dry. There can be some splashes or sprays on more exciting windy days, and we have covers and spray hoods on the yacht to protect us.
These sails we be scheduled based on fair weather, but in any case if it rains or you are cold it is very warm, comfortable and dry downstairs in the living quarters of the yacht. We recommend you dress with a number of layers so you can add or remove a layer to be the most comfortable. Also we suggest bring a scarf, hat and jacket for later in the afternoon on the return sail when it can get cooler as the sun starts to set!
