What better place to admire the open sea than from a striking lighthouse towering 70 metres above the ground situated at the very edge of a steep cliff that falls away to the Adriatic Sea?! At the entrance to the bay of Skrivena Luka, on the southern side of the island of Lastovo, this very lighthouse was built on Cape Struga in 1839. Three generations of the Kvinta family have been living on the island as lighthouse keepers since it was constructed, their only role being to take care of the lighthouse.

Appreciate the towering majesty as we sail past on our way to Porto Rosso, where we will dock for the night, and then disembark the boat to hike up to the lighthouse to see the view for yourself. Magnificent views and easy access to the sea through the pine woods on the northern side of the lighthouse make Struga lighthouse a very popular tourist destination.
